Storeroom is our favourite place to enjoy live music here in Malta. Located by the Ta' Xbiex waterfront, the venue dedicates itself to providing a platform for local and international musicians to perform in front of an intimate crowd. They spend a great deal sourcing established as well as up and coming artists, which means that each month they have an incredible lineup of musical talent that you just can't miss.

This month, Storeroom is inviting touring artist Cesare Siglarski; blues-rock band Perseus Dream; indie musician Bark Bark Disco; Lulu and Bertu for their reunion on stage; Lord Loopstation before his world tour; and the collaborative Mallet Finger Community.

Cesare Acoustic

Kicking off this awesome lineup is touring artist Cesare Siglarski. He is currently on an incredible European Tour and his love for Malta has drawn him back to perform in 7 different locations around the island. His standout performance is arguably to be at Storeroom on Wednesday 8th March. He will be accompanied by Anna Jakob and Marcel Jansen as they cover popular songs from famous artists like The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Coldplay and more. Get your tickets now for just €5 on Chitzo.

The Chill Looper Session

Lulu and Bertu are back on stage together for an intimate jamming session this month. Their connection dates back to secondary school where they discovered their love for music. They later formed part of the same band, Candle in the Valley, before taking different paths in their music journeys, with Lulu now a member of the guitar duo Xarulu, while Bertu is a percussionist in the band Skald.

However, this March, the pair will be reunited on stage for a series of friendly jamming sessions. You can catch them live at Storeroom on Wednesday 15th March where they will be experimenting with live guitar looping, mixing popular tunes and various percussion beats. Perseus Dream

Perseus Dream is a blues-rock band that delves into a variety of influences from the ’70s and ’90s, taking audiences on a musical journey of original songs and all-time favourites from these eras. They are preparing a cover of original classics for their gig at Storeroom on Saturday 18th March, which is sure to keep guests tapping their toes all night. Tickets are only €7 on Chitzo.

The Mallet Finger

The Mallet Finger is a platform for music collaboration. During their sets, they welcome musicians on stage with them to perform alongside the band. Their acoustic repertoire flourishes in several genres including soul, rock, pop-rock, folk and blues! In their acoustic arrangements, you may recognize Amy Winehouse, Oasis, Gorrilaz, Mac de Marco, Gnarls Barkley, Lianne la Havas and Tame Impala. Bark Bark Disco

Ian Schranz returns to Storeroom on Thursday 23rd March. Whenever he is on stage, there always seems to be a festive and vibrant atmosphere in the air. Best known by his stage name, Bark Bark Disco, Ian has had a fantastic solo career creating his own unique music and working alongside some fantastic artists including JOON, Andre Herman Dune aka Stanley Brinks, Johnny Jewel and Jeffrey Lewis. He will be performing hits from his latest album “On the dance floor” together with some of his timely classics. Don’t miss this one and get your tickets from Chitzo before they sell out.

Lord Loopstation

Last but not least, Salvatore Iacono, known by his stage name Lord Loopstation, will be Storeroom's final gig in March. He has expertly translated his personal experiences over the last year into music to try and help anyone who lives through similar situations. His new album "From the Darkness" reflects on the highs and lows of life in which his songs capture powerful emotions from grief to revenge, loss to comfort, and everything else in between.
