...A breath of fresh air

Like my journey whilst traveling to Malta back in August, a recent trip into Birmingham city centre went like a dream.

Just as I’d floated through the airport with no queue at security, through an empty departure lounge straight on to my flight with no queue, I flowed into the “city” with no problems, with either traffic or parking. The same can be said for public transport right now – a lot quieter than normal, almost comfortable and how you’d ideally like things to be under normal circumstances.

What a breath of fresh air amidst all this chaos!

Welcomed with a smile...

...even if you can't see it

On arrival we quickly donned our masks before entering and sanitising our hands, welcomed into the venue you can see the warm smile through the mask. This is all standard procedure now, that is clear from this and many other trips to hospitality venues.

You could argue that the hospitality has never been so good, with no long queues at the bar and very efficient service helping you fully enjoy, even if the atmosphere isn't quite the same usual buzz!

A great time to do it

It might not seem like a great time to get out and enjoy yourself with everything going on with Covid, HOWEVER - the journey was as pleasant as journeys can get, the welcome as warm as ever and there are some amazing deals and offers.

As if that's not enough there's the feel good factor - it feels great to be out , safe secure with a nice atmosphere, plus every customer makes a real difference right now as the many venues struggle to cope under the current situation...
