Halloween returns this year with costume parties, scary movies and spooky adventures. With events back to full swing and many organizers deciding to incorporate the much-loved Halloween celebrations in their events, this year's Halloween is expected to be a scary one indeed.

We all have different ways in which we like to celebrate the haunted celebration. Some enjoy the thrill of dressing up into something scary for one night, others enjoy a good party, while others like to indulge in horror films. So, we have provided 9 events happening in Malta this weekend, to help you make plans and ensure that you will not be alone for Halloween!

Try a Spooky Ghost Tour

Have you heard about the ghosts of Valletta? This Halloween, Colour My Travel will be telling chilling and spine-tingling stories that will make your blood run cold, while walking around the Southern parts of the Capital City. They will be meeting at St Georges Square at 8pm on Saturday 30th October. Join them for a night you surely won't forget.

Play Horror Board Games

Another great idea to spend a Halloween evening is to meet up and play board games with PlayUp Malta. They are back at Gyros and Churros to meetup for a Halloween themed board game night. They will be introducing several popular horror themed titles such as Arkham Horror, Betrayal at House on a Hill, Hako Onna, Warewolf just to mention a few. Watch the Evil Dead on its 40th Anniversary

The Evil Dead turns 40 this year, and Spazju Kreattiv are bringing the much intimated, but never bettered horror movie to their cinemas on Sunday 31st October. So, as part of their national conference, they are getting into the Halloween spirit, and organizing a murder mystery themed Halloween dinner on Saturday 30th Octiber. After a successful return to the grooves this summer, Groovebox are back for their Halloween celebration. They are turning Ivy House, an old British Church, into a haunted mansion. Zipline in the dark

On Saturday 30th October, Mc Adventures are turning off the lights. They are inviting adrenaline junkies to come dressed in their scariest Halloween costumes for an awesome zipline experience under Mosta Bridge.
