Aimée Lespierres | Live at Storeroom

In collaboration with the Ambassade de France à Malte and the Alliance Française, Storeroom is excited to present the French duo Aimées Lespierres on Thursday 17th March. Since 2018, the duo has performed around France in Paris, Bron, Marseille, Caen, Aubagne, Manosque, Bastia, and more. Vocalist Marilou Aimée studied Jazz and Contemporary Music at the conservatory in Aix-en-Provence, France. During this period, she also studied musicology at university where she got her Master's degree. A singer with a clear and powerful voice, her singing style ranges from jazz to rock with a vast repertoire of covers and original compositions. Guitarist Richard Gerard studied classical guitar at the conservatory and jazz guitar privately. He has been teaching guitar for 30 years and in 2002 founded '13 Guitares', his own guitar shop and school. Today, he also teaches blind people at UNADEV in Marseille. A guitarist and percussionist passionate about arrangements, he started playing in several rock bands prior to forming the duo Aimée Lespierres. He also joined the renowned author Raphaële Frier in the literature festivals during which they proposed musical readings of some of her books. - Admission: free Time: 8 PM Date: Thursday 17th March
